Our Ethics

At Epic Escapes, we’re passionate about bringing people together through immersive at-home escape room games—without compromising on our responsibility to people or the planet. From sustainability to fair business practices, we’re committed to doing things the right way.

Carbon Neutral & Climate Conscious

We take real, measurable action to reduce our environmental impact:

  • Minimal air freight: We’ve significantly cut transport emissions by reducing air freight across our supply chain.

  • Green energy: All our websites are hosted on servers powered by renewable energy, and our offices run on green electricity and heating.

  • Carbon offsetting: We’ve been offsetting our remaining emissions since 2017—first via CarbonFootprint.com (2017–2021) and now through Ecologi.

  • Tree planting: From 2024, we plant one tree for every order placed—going beyond carbon neutral to help rebuild natural ecosystems.

  • Low-plastic policy: We avoid plastic wherever possible, using biodegradable materials in our packaging and production. We also run a responsible recycling scheme for products at the end of their life.

Ethical Labour & Fair Working Conditions

We believe everyone involved in creating and delivering our games deserves fair, safe and respectful working conditions.

  • Since 2019, all our suppliers are required to meet—or exceed—the Fair Labor Association’s Code of Conduct.

  • We support ethical international trade that promotes decent employment and working conditions, especially in developing regions.

Fair Tax Commitment

Epic Escapes is a UK-registered company (Lime Creations Ltd), and we’re proud to pay our full and fair share of UK corporation tax—supporting public services and contributing to the wider economy.

Our Commitment To The Planet

We plant one tree for every order through our partner Ecologi, helping to restore ecosystems and absorb more CO₂ than each delivery creates. We power our operations with renewables, offset remaining transport emissions, and avoid plastic wherever possible.
